Established in 2010, the community garden has provided an opportunity for people in our congregation and in the community to come together through the raising and harvesting of food.
The garden is located on the west side of the church property. There were 32 plots our first year, each 15x15 feet. The garden is fenced and irrigated. Through the work of committed volunteers, it has quickly developed into a rich, fertile spot for growing everything from tomatoes to corn to flowers.
Our garden has 64 amazing plots! We also have several compost bins along with a sink to wash off any produce you may have picked. We hope to have a shed and tools soon.
Contact Lynda Manselle at email@example.com or 796-6502 for more information on how you can be involved in this fruitful endeavor.
Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation:
seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds."
And it was so.
